We take on a selective caseload to ensure each client receives personal attention and fearless representation from investigation through trial.

Company History

Founded in 2000 by attorneys Steven C. Dawson and Anita Rosenthal, Dawson & Rosenthal traces its roots to the earlier firm Thur, Dawson & O'Sullivan (established in 1995). Drawing on more than 30 years of practice and over 70 years of combined legal experience, our firm has built a national reputation for handling complex insurance bad faith and coverage cases. From offices in Sedona, Phoenix, and San Diego, we represent policyholders and insureds throughout Arizona and California who have had legitimate insurance claims unfairly delayed, underpaid, or denied. Our trial attorneys have served as expert witnesses, uncovered institutionalized bad faith, and secured significant verdicts and settlements for our clients. We continue to focus on selective, high?stakes litigation to ensure every client receives dedicated advocacy and fearless trial representation.
