Husch Blackwell is seeking a consultant/contractor to provide project based support for the firm’s labor and employment team in its development of client facing materials and other practice related subject matter content. Projects requested may include, but are not limited to:
Developing draft news updates and alerts for both external use (clients and potential clients) and internal use (attorney and professional education);
Writing draft articles and blog posts on substantive legal issues in the labor and employment space;
Tracking national, state, and local developments in the law in the labor and employment space and advising on need and/or advantages of providing updates and/or content around those developments or potential developments;
Developing training programs and CLE materials for clients, prospective clients, and/or the firm’s lawyers and/or professionals;
Drafting of social media content and/or updates; and/or
Other activities in support of the development of subject matter content for the firm’s labor and employment team.
This opportunity requires a high degree of flexibility and the ability to provide project work on a quick turnaround, which will fluctuate in volume. Consultant must have a J.D., be admitted to at least one state’s bar, and have at least 5 years of experience practicing for a large law firm as a labor and employment specialist on behalf of corporate clients. Work may be performed remotely and location is flexible.
