The Project Management Office Manager will be responsible for the coordination and completion of firm wide projects. They will oversee all aspects of projects including project scope, staffing, testing, and completion. They will set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of projects with frequent updates to IT Director, COO and Senior Management as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for tracking and prioritizing all firm wide projects
Examine contributions by project team members
Monitor third party vendors and ensure timely integration of projects
Determine user needs and requirements
Work closely with all Directors, Attorneys and Senior Management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Lead and direct the work of team members assigned to projects
Conduct training sessions, demonstration sessions and first line support for projects implemented
Perform Business Analyst functions when needed
Maintain IT department calendar and project list to be reviewed and referenced on a bi-weekly basis
Work with Microsoft Project and Bright Works to outline and coordinate projects
Supervise a small team of Application Analysts
Review weekly Help Desk log to insure outstanding help desk issues dispatched to this position are resolved in a timely manner
Update Track-It with resolutions for dispatched issues
Ongoing education of products and systems by attending training sessions and keeping up with new products within the industry
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Four year degree in Information Technology, Business or related field
Minimum of 2 years of project management experience required
1-2 years of experience in business analysis or system administration preferred
Project Management certificate preferred
Excellent business, communication and interpersonal skills required
